You don't know me but I had to write to thank you for sharing your experiences. My mother was diagnosed with ALS in March this year and I don't need to tell you that the whole family is devastated and still trying to come to terms with the news. When I first found your mum's blog I didn't think I would be able to read it but I did and I'm glad. Other people have coped with this and we will too. I never knew your mother, but I shed tears for her today. God bless.

ALS is a terrible disease that has degenerative effects on our loved ones. We're trying to do all we can for one of our good friends. Any support would be great.

I just stumbled across your blog. Thank you so much for documenting your mothers journey. My mother, Joyce Dudek, was diagnosed on Sept 12, and is currently in hospice breathing her final breaths.

May God get us to a place where this disease takes no more...
